This year, Christian High’s girls volleyball team is in Division II and is looking to capture a championship with senior captain Kate Wnek leading them into the season. The Christian High volleyball team was knocked out of the semi-finals last year against Mission Bay, while still coming in second place in their league. With early wins this year against Helix and Hilltop High School, the Christian High volleyball team is starting off with a successful season. The Patriots have only lost one game this season against Open Division team, Valhalla High School. The Patriots have a tough schedule this year, but with hard work and determination the team is looking to become league champions. Junior volleyball player Jaelyn Henige said “We have started out this season great and are looking forward to the rest of this season. We have a young team with an immense amount of talent.” The Patriots play their games on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so come out and support your volleyball players!
