Boys Soccer

This season of boys soccer is off to a strong start! This year, the Christian High boys soccer team is in Division IV. Led by captain Jake Downey (12), the team has already competed in several games. With a tough league ahead, the team will face many skilled competitors, but will hopefully be prepared!

After winning CIF last year, the team has spent this time preparing for their upcoming season in hopes of being successful once again. In recent games against Classical Academy and Santana, the team tied with a score of 2-2 and 0-0. Additionally, a successful penalty kick by Trevor Dixon (9) helped insure a Patriot victory against Monarch. After losing valuable graduated senior athletes who helped lead the team last year, the boys soccer team is experiencing a season of building team unity and spirit.

Two new coaches have joined the Christian High boys soccer team this season and are leading the team this year. Head coach Levy Kealaluhi has had experience playing in the NFL and has been a significant help to the soccer team. Also, Coach Scott Matters has recently led the team as an additional coach, and together they will be working to grow the team as the student athletes progress and grow individually, as well as a unified team. Come out and support your Christian High boys soccer team this season and show your Patriot Pride!
