Christmas San Diego Sights

Starlight Circle

Starlight Circle is one of the many places to view extravagant Christmas lights decking the homes of San Diegans. During the month of December, experience the magical lights with friends. Located in Santee on East & West Glendon Cir, Starlight Circle is beautiful place to drive with friends but is also flat and an easy walk for the up-close Christmas experience. The twinkling lights are an exceptional way to get in the Christmas spirit with friends or family.

Coffee Corner

With two locations in Santee, the Coffee Corner is a great place to come and pick up hot chocolate on your way to Starlight Circle, or sit and study with friends. With an amazingly wide variety of coffee, teas, and smoothies, the Coffee Corner has options for the coffee-addicted and the coffee averters both. Their Town Center Parkway location contains a large table perfect for finals study groups as well as couches perfect for reading, relaxing, or studying. Don’t miss their acai bowls which are well known for their fresh fruit, crunchy granola, and smooth acai. Their white chocolate latte is unparalleled and great iced or hot for any season.

Skating by the Sea

Appropriately named for being just steps from the beach, Skating by the Sea is the Hotel Del Coronado’s skating rink. The Christmas decorations and the smell of the sea while ice skating on an outside rink capture the perfect picture of a San Diego Christmas. The rink’s location in the Christmas-enthusiastic Coronado is perfect for walking or driving through. Don’t miss a post-skating sunset walk on the beach. There is also a stand where you can get hot chocolate, eggnog, and coffee. Golden hour is the best time to take in the beauty of the ocean and to take gorgeous beach pictures.
